Big Sky Ballin’ is proud to announce ALL STAR WEEKEND 2015.  This is a three day event dedicated to skills, sportsmanship, and competition.  All ages are sure to enjoy themselves August 7-9 in Billings, Montana with lots to see, lots to do, and a whole lot of basketball.  Since inception Big Sky Ballin’ has watched over 300 teams compete in our Above the Rim tournament along with over 5,000 fans.  Vendors will be on hand during the tournament and merchandise will be available for purchase.

DAY ONE

Friday kicks off at 8:00 am sharp with a skills camp hosted by the 406 Academy.  Kids ages 7-17 will learn or improve on the fundamentals of defense, dribbling, shooting, and passing.  We have allotted time during camp to apply what is learned in scrimmages and small sided games.  Campers will also get to meet Zach LaVine, rookie with the Minnesota Timberwolves!  Camp will be held at Alterowitz Gymnasium on the campus of Montana State University Billings (MSUB).  The cost is $129.00 per player and lunch is provided.

DAY TWO

Saturday morning we’ll lay down the paint in the parking lot of the Shrine Auditorium as the 3rd Annual “Above the Rim” 3 on 3 basketball tournament gets under way.  We have five divisions for grades 3-12 separated by gender.  We also have divisions for Adult Men, Adult Women, Adult Coed, and Elite.  Around noon we will be holding our slam dunk contest and, of course, Zach LaVine will be on hand to judge.  Better be ready for this, it’s hard to impress the NBA Champ!  We will also have a 3-point contest for our sharp shooters.

DAY THREE

Championship Sunday will see 14 teams emerge as the best in their division.  Awards and photos will be a’plenty this day as several players will go home with hardware.  Be sure to check out our Instagram for pictures of all the champions!
